Deep
The blurb: Deep (Diep) shows an inner journey of a woman. In a surrealistic ocean she explores her sexuality. Her body is an expression of the soul that reveals and merges in the poetic surroundings.
This lovely animation uses ocean imagery to represent a woman’s journey from repression to joy. The techniques are simple and there’s no dialogue but it does a fine job of capturing the essence of sexual self-discovery. This film has screened at numerous festivals and won several awards.
