This is the most adorable, catchy song created as part of a campaign against female genital mutilation in the UK, specifically where some were advocating for a “mild” form of cutting (more info). This video makes it clear that it’s not acceptable to maim women for any reason. On top of that, it’s a strong statement against demands that women conform to certain sexual and visual ideas. It’s really just a big “fuck you” and I loved it.
The song was made by IntegrateUK. They’re a “youth led charity that empowers young people to take an active and positive role in transforming the society they live in.”
